Take Flight!

I designed this necklace for the woman who's decided "to catch air and take flight".  The focal is a jasper shavishavi ("butterfly" in the Shona language) electroplated in 14k gold.  It is encircled by silk-knotted 10mm faceted labradorite beads which flash secrets when touched by light.  All findings are gold-filled.
